MAHMUD cuenta una historia real a través de la palabra, la acrobacia y las canciones en directo. La historia de un joven senegalés que parte de su ciudad natal en busca de trabajo en el país vecino, donde estalla una guerra civil. Lo que iba a ser un trayecto relativamente sencillo se convierte en una pesadilla por las consecuencias del colonialismo, por la falta de vías legales para una movilidad segura debido a la financiación europea a países como Níger y Marruecos para el control del movimiento migratorio, por la explotación laboral y el racismo.
