Cuando las familias campesinas de los Andes terminan de construir sus casas colocan sobre los tejados cruces tachonadas de amuletos entre dos toritos de barro para que el nuevo hogar tenga la protección espiritual de los animales familiares. Esta tradición se conoce como "Wasi Tupuy". PAULA Y ANDRÉS IWASAKI, de raíces peruanas, han querido bautizar su proyecto con ese nombre para llevar consigo el hogar en sus canciones.
